Learning Indian Classical Tabla from the age of 6, Sandu was introduced to the world of music at a young age. He belongs to Punjab Gharana. Disciple of Pandit Ramakant ji. Through the discipline of Indian Classical Music, his music performance holds its roots in a tradition of one of the world’s oldest forms of music.
Performing different genres of music for more than 32 years,
Sandu has garnered recognition in numerous international music festivals and concerts, including collaborations with Hans Zimmer, Bahramji, and many others.
Natural talent and unwavering dedication to the art form made his performances seamlessly blend complex rhythms and intricate patterns, creating a mesmerizing experience for the audience.
Blending musical worlds, Sandu’s dynamic percussion is redefining what’s possible between Eastern and Western traditions, not only building bridges between cultures, but between people.
